Our beautiful quality Silk Chiffon Fabric. Also referred to as Silk Paj this fabric is ultra light, soft to handle and drapes beautifully ?as only silk can! Silk Chiffon is a delicate, sheer (see through) fabric that is non stretch and is perfect for an overlay as it is extremely lightweight and semi transparent. The use of Chiffon gives an elegant, floaty appearance to a dress or gown. It can be difficult to work with due to its light and slippery texture and must not be machine washed as it is a very delicate fabric. Because this fabric is 100% Silk, if white is not the colour you are looking for then there are endless colour possibilities with our huge range of dyes! It is also suitable for silk painting too!
