Minerva Core Range Chunky Cotton Sweater Knit Stretch Fabric Navy Blue

A fantastic quality chunky cotton sweater knit fabric from the Minerva Core Range collection. Sweater knit is a knitted fabric that resembles hand knitting. It is a much looser knit than a typical jersey fabric, which gives the effect of a hand knit, rather than machine made. This fabric is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester fibres and it is OEKO-TEX certified which gives it a beautiful softness. It weighs approx. 500gsm which puts it into our heavy weight category here at Minerva. It is ideal for making sweaters, cardigans, coatigans and dresses. This fabric has a beautiful drape and soft handle, therefore it suits styles of garments that have drape.
