Bartoline 1876 Plaster Skim Repair 2.5L Bartoline 1876 Ready Mixed Plaster Skim is specially formulated for quick and effective repairs to plaster and plasterboard prior to decorating. With excellent wet adhesion properties Bartoline Ready Mixed Plaster Skim is quick to apply and will not slump on vertical surfaces. Easy to smooth, it will cover areas up to 3mm deep. For deeper holes and cavities use Bartoline 1876 All Purpose Ready Mixed Filler followed by Plaster Skim as appropriate. Directions: Surfaces should be sound, dry, clean and free from damp, dust and grease. Surfaces painted with gloss should be sanded to provide a key. Nail heads in plasterboard should be knocked below the surface level and covered with an oil-based paint to prevent rusting. Apply the plaster skim to the surface using a large brush, trowel or other suitable spreader. After the initial setting the surface can be smoothed over using a wet trowel. Alternatively, the surface can be allowed to dry thoroughly and smoothed down using fine sandpaper. When the plaster skim is fully dry it can be painted. When hanging wallcoverings, seal the surface with a plaster sealer or sealer/PVA mix and allow to dry prior to hanging. Cleaning & StorageAfter use, ensure lid is firmly replaced to prevent contents from drying. Remove excess Plaster Skim from tools prior to cleaning. Clean tools with water before Plaster Skim sets hard. PROTECT FROM FROST.
