Minerva Core Range Organic Cotton Jersey Stretch Knit Fabric Forest Green

A fantastic quality organic cotton jersey fabric from the Minerva Core Range collection. Cotton jersey is a knit fabric that is relatively easy to sew, ideal for anyone new to sewing with knit fabrics. It is made from 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane fibres which gives it a beautiful softness, but it still has body. This fabric is both OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified which is the Global Organic Textile Standard that was developed by leading standard setters to define worldwide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provides credible assurance of its quality. This fabric weighs approx. 200gsm which puts it into our medium weight category here at Minerva. It is ideal for making t shirts, tops, summer skirts, dresses and shorts. It is also ideal for children and baby clothes.
