Blend Canny Blue

"Canny in name and nature, a pleasant blue softened with grey undertones." Canny blue is a blue shade packed with grey undertones to keep it feeling muted and sophisticated. We can appreciate not everyone knows the definition of canny (and it has a lot!) so here it means ‘quite’ as in quite blue but also really nice (usually you would say something like that a dead canny colour!) We feel like it suits its name perfectly! Blue is a great colour choice in a south or east facing room as it helps to neutralise the brightness of the sunlight. It also has so many wellness benefits to it as its a peaceful and kind colour so it’s great to use in office spaces or bedrooms. In bright and larger room you could use Canny Blue as a standalone shade, or keep it as a feature wall colour and pair it with a softer off white neutral or greige shade. Choosing blue in interior design schemes can have a large positive effect on mental and physical wellbeing. It can increase intelligence, a sense of trust and the ability to find tranquility. Muted blues are soothing and tranquil whilst deep,rich blues provide a dramatic impact.
