The Conté Sanguine Medici Pencil Is The Darkest Of The Conté “Sanguine“ Pencils. The Medici Pencil And Has A The Least Red Oxide Of The Pencils In The Range. It Has Similar Properties To The Other “Sanguine“ Pencils In That With A Sharpened Lead The Drawing Is Accurate And The Colour Is Transparent But Will Deepen As Pressure Is Applied With A Worn Lead.
