Manuscript Calligraphy Pen Holders are made by Manuscript Pen Company Ltd, a family-owned business established in 1990 and based in Highley, Shropshire. Through their association with D. Leonardt & Co, their nib-making heritage can be traced back to 1856, reflecting a long tradition of British pen manufacture. Designed for use with dip nibs, these pen holders are suited to calligraphy, lettering, and decorative writing. Manuscript specialise in calligraphy tools and work closely with the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society, continuing the historic West Midlands tradition of steel pen making with roots in Birmingham.
