Direct descendant of the “Dromond”, a swift medieval ship of war, the “Xebec” (pronounced zeebeck) shows how the French were able to capitalise on the speed available in their battles with the Saracens etc. A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, lost wax brass castings, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord.  All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy.
