Mantua Models 1/43 Scale Trotamares Motor Schooner Model Kit

The “Trotamares” was built in Spain in 1958 and was later restored and transformed from a fishing boat to a luxury cruiser. She is now chartered out of Monte Carlo dockyard.  A plank on frame construction, the kit contains:- Building plans with general details, English instructions, walnut or lime planking, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord and silk flag. All sheet ply sections are laser cut for accuracy. Scale of 1:43 Length 800mm  This fine decorative model, whilst not initially designed to sail, with care and modification, by opening up the internal bulkheads, could readily be made to take running gear and radio control.
