Airfix QUICK BUILD Mustang P-51D Model Kit

The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War, among other conflicts. The P-51 is widely regarded as the finest all-around piston-engined fighter of World War II to be produced in significant numbers. The British had experimented with Mustangs fitted with the powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, and they discovered that the Merlin’s efficient mechanical supercharger gave the fighter outstanding high-altitude performance, thus the P-51 was born. This model kit contains 38 parts.   Airfix QUICK BUILD is an exciting range of brick-based models suitable as an introduction to modelling for any age of 6 and up. The pre-coloured pieces simply push together to build an impressive model which can then be decorated with the included self-adhesive stickers.
