Takom 1/35 Scale US AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter The AH-64 Apache is an American combat helicopter with twin turboshaft engines, tailwheel landing gear and a tandem cockpit for a crew of two. It has a nose-mounted sensor unit for target acquisition and night vision systems.It is armed with a 30 mm M230 chaingun and typically a mix of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 unguided rockets. The AH-64D Apache Longbow is equipped with a glass cockpit and advanced sensors, the most prominent of which are the AN/APG-78 Longbow millimetre wave fire control radar (FCR) and radar frequency interferometer (RFI).
