Billing Boats America Racing Yacht   In response to a challenge from the Royal Yacht Squadron, the schooner AmericA participates in the Hundred Guinea Cup race, a 53-mile voyage around the Isle of Wright. It easily wins over the 14 British ships and receives the Hundred Guinea Cup trophy. On August 25, Queen Victoria herself visits the ship. AmericA proudly returns home and presents the award to the New York Yacht Club, which is then renamed the America's Cup.    Requires paints and glue to assemble - not included.
