It was produced in numerous variants and versions from 1970 to 1996. Range Rovers were favoured by British traffic police due to their estate car-type rear hatch, allowing storage of all the necessary equipment needed for on the road. Italeri’s 1:24 Police Range Rover comes with markings for British Greater Manchester Police, British Transport Police and Dutch Police (Rijkspolitie) from the late 1970s early ‘80s era. The model features a highly detailed body shell exactly captures classic shape of original. It is straightforward to build and comes with two styles of police light-bar for the roof. Flexible vinyl tyres with Range Rover tread pattern are provided and you’ll find a full ladder chassis in the box. The front wheels can be positioned in a left or right steered position. The cabin interior is well detailed, with alternative dashboard parts for left or right hand drive options. On the exterior, alternative windscreen wiper parts are provided for left or right hand drive options. The kit includes an open or closed tailgate option. The kit captures the imposing lines of the original vehicle and is an important model for fans of police vehicles and British motoring in general. Starter Paint Pack Includes: 10 x 17ml Vallejo model paints. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes.  Please note: The paint packs offered are only our suggestion from the box art and will not match directly with the instructions found within the kit.
