Product Description

Infinity Wax Heavy Cut Compound with Diminishing Abrasives Fast, Effective Paint Correction for Severe Defects What is it? CUT is a professional-grade heavy cutting compound developed for automotive paint correction. It quickly removes heavy paint defects including sanding marks, scratches, oxidation, and swirl marks. As the compound breaks down during polishing, it refines the finish and reduces the likelihood of holograms or hazing, making it highly effective for both correction and preparation work. What’s it made from? CUT uses a water-based suspension of aluminium oxide abrasive particles combined with calcium technology. The aluminium oxide provides strong initial cutting power to remove defects quickly, while the calcium reacts under heat generated during polishing. This interaction causes the abrasives to gradually break down, refining the finish as the polishing cycle continues. What are the features? CUT delivers extremely fast defect removal, capable of correcting sanding marks up to P1500 while diminishing down to approximately P2500 for a significantly refined finish. The advanced abrasive system provides strong initial correction before refining the paint surface as the abrasives break down. It is suitable for both dual action and rotary polishers, making it ideal for enthusiasts and professional detailers alike. When used correctly, CUT can achieve dramatic paint restoration and in some cases produce near single-stage correction results. Suitable for dual action and rotary polishers. Cut: 10/10 - Gloss: 5/10 How does it fit into the detailing process? CUT should be used after the vehicle has been washed, chemically decontaminated, and fully dried. Apply using a machine polisher with a suitable cutting or all-round polishing pad. Work in small sections until the compound begins to break down and refine the finish. After correction, follow with a finishing polish to maximise gloss and clarity before applying protection such as a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating.
