The grips have a waterproof design in a sealed-for-life welded case for long-term durability and weather-proofing. There are also weather-proof power connectors for increased protection from the elements. The Evo HotGrips have a built-in temperature measuring thermistor that provides feedback to the heat controller. This means that the Rider can set the desired temperature and the controller will automatically monitor and maintain to this level. There is also an intelligent heat setting memory included, which is an innovative function which stores the previous setting and defaults to this at the next power-up, saving time when in regular use. This function is only available if the heat controller is connected to the ignition.These HotGrips are able to offer precise temperature control across 5 specific heat levels, with LED Lights to indicate the temperature settings. 5 specific heat levels:1 - 35° C2 - 37.5° C3 - 40° C4 - 42.5° C5 - 45° CAdditional features include a battery saving mode, which protects the Grips from flat batteries. If you forget to turn them off, it will do it for you. The Hot Grips have been designed as a replacement for the handlebar grips already fitted to the Motorcycle /  ATV. The will fit onto 7/8" (22mm) handlebars, with the through-moulded rubber providing a strong and reassuring glue bond to the handlebars.
