Here you can see local artisans making bricks and terra cotta by hand. You will learn about traditional techniques and how these bricks are similar to those used in ancient temples. Then travel through the countryside by jeep or car. Enjoy a scenic ride through small villages, rice fields, and quiet rural roads. Along the way you may see farmers working and water buffalo grazing in the fields. Next, visit My Son Sanctuary, the former religious center of the Champa Kingdom. Walk through the valley to see ancient red-brick temples while your guide explains the history of the site, the temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, and the impacts of the Vietnam War.
