The fruity strawberry flavour suspension that is sugar and colour free, starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes but is still gentle on children's delicate tummies. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe which helps when dispensing the correct dose of suspension. It relieves the symptoms of fever, cold and flu, teething, headache, toothache, earache, sore throat and other aches and pains. CONTAINS PARACETAMOL. What can Calpol be used for? Calpol can be given to children for the following reasons: Relieving mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, teething, earache or sore throat Reducing a high temperature fever Relieving aches, pains, fever and general discomfort associated with colds and flu or following childhood vaccinations When can Calpol Infant Suspension be used? For babies and children aged from 2 months to 6 years weighing more than 4kg and not premature. Can Newborns have Calpol? Contains paracetamol. For babies and children aged from 2 months to 6 years weighing more than 4kg and not premature. Paracetamol 120mg in each 5ml What are the other ingredients? Contains Maltitol liquid E965,Sorbitol liquid non crystallising E420, Glycerol, Microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, Xanthan gum, Ethyl parahydroxybenzoate E214, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate E218,Propyl parahydroxybenzoate E216, Polysorbate 80,Strawberry Flavour 500286E containing propylene glycol E1520 and benzyl alcohol, Purified water Ingredients Usage How to use Calpol Infant Sugar & Colour-Free Oral Suspension 2 Months 100ml Infants 2-3 months 2.5ml Leave 4-6 hours before a second dose Can be given to babies 2-3 months with post-vaccination fever. Can also be given for other causes of pain and fever as long as they weigh over 4kg and are not premature. Do not give more than 2 doses. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist Infants 3-6 months 2.5ml Up to 4 times in 24 hours Infants 6-24 months 5ml Up to 4 times in 24 hours Children 2-4 years 7.5ml Up to 4 times in 24 hours Children 4-6 years 10ml Up to 4 doses in 24 hours For all the dosage information above please remember: Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
