Ocho Tequila Blanco

Ocho Tequila Blanco is a premium, single-estate 100% blue agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. Co-founded by Carlos Camarena and Tomas Estes in 2008, with a desire to prove that, just like fine wine, terroir has a serious influence on the blue weber agave fruit and the production of premium tequila. Made by hand and heart, this tequila is one of the few tequilas still made in the slow, artisanal way with the utmost care and passion. They only harvest overripe agaves, which are then slowly roasted in old brick ovens, fermented with natural airborne yeast, and distilled at low temperatures. The result is a wonderfully clean tequila with aromas of crisp agave, lively citrus notes, and a fresh herbaceousness, with cooked agave notes on the palate, with a touch of fresh cut grass and earthiness. Perfect for sipping neat or as a base in your favourite cocktail.
