TAKmats are used to control foot-borne contamination from entering or leaving work areas in industries such as electronics food and drink laboratories construction and paint spray booths. These sectors often require stringent cleanliness standards. These mats are placed at the entrance to sensitive areas. People entering or leaving these areas are compelled to step on and off the mat ensuring contact with the impregnated cotton covers. As the impregnated cotton covers become saturated with dirt they can be peeled away revealing a new clean layer underneath.
