All brackets and uprights are made of premium-grade steel with an anti-bacterial coating, making these kits suitable for both everyday use and use in environments with strict hygiene requirements (education, medical, healthcare and industry). Our twin slot kits are ideal for use in classrooms, warehouses, offices, showrooms, retail outlets, hospitals, colleges, health centers, and office developments. Our extensive collection is simple, strong, and adaptable. 2 slotted-steel uprights, 2 brackets per shelf, melamine or beech shelves, a wall fixing pack, and a shelf fixing pack are all included in complete shelving kits. We currently offer white and black shelving kits with melamine or beech shelves. Kits include an upright fixing pack and a shelf fixing pack, but these fixing packs may not be appropriate for all applications. The strength of the installation is determined by the fixings' strength and suitability; it is the installer's responsibility to ensure the fixings' strength and suitability (especially when fixing to partitions or hollow/stud walling) as well as the substrate material's suitability. Please note that for maximum load capacity, the uprights should be spaced no more than 600mm apart. With the relevant wall plugs, BiGDUG recommends using 3" No.10 screws. Individuals should also seek the advice of a suitably qualified person to ensure that the uprights are installed correctly. At each end of the shelf, a 150mm overhang should be left. Before installing the system, the type and thickness of shelf material, as well as the application, must be considered.
