Birmingham's Railways : A Decade of Change

The last decade has seen a large number of changes on the railways in and around Birmingham.A new operator, accountable to the regional authorities, has taken over most local services from London Midland.There have been new liveries, improved stations and updated infrastructure.New trains, new stations and services are on the horizon.This book will document these changes over the mid to late 2010s and early 2020s.Taking each local line in turn, this book will show how the Birmingham railway scene has changed, and also give a taste of what is to come.This photographic survey of the last decade of the railways in Birmingham will appeal to all those with an interest in the history of the railways in this region.
