BRUCE FOXTON+ support: SECRET AFFAIRBruce Foxton of The Jam and Stiff Little Fingers announces 2026 UK tour dates with his new band. The career of Bruce Foxton spans almost 5 decades. He came to prominence as bassist/vocalist and songwriter for The Jam, writing and performing the lead vocals on 'News of the World', 'Smithers-Jones' along with The Kinks cover 'David Watts'.After the break of The Jam, Bruce Foxton released a solo album, 'Touch Sensitive', in 1984. He joined Stiff Little Fingers and toured and recorded with the band for over 15 years.Following his departure from Stiff Little Fingers, Bruce Foxton joined up with ex-The Jam drummer Rick Buckler, and guitarist/vocalist Russell Hastings in 2007 to tour as From The Jam.   Bruce Foxton - Bass/Vocals Mark Brzezicki - Drums Craig Joiner - Guitar/Vocals Andy Fairclough - Keyboards   Formed from the ashes of Power Pop band New Hearts, Secret Affair built their reputation with sell out shows at the Bridge House in Canning Town, London and with a high profile support slot on The Jam's 1979 tour.   Secret Affair went on to have 5 x Top 40 singles, 'Time For Action', 'Let Your Heart Dance, 'My World', 'Do You Know?', 'Sound of Confusion', and 3 acclaimed LP's, 'Glory Boys', 'Behind Closed Doors' and 'Business As Usual', released before splitting in 1982.
