With the Ronin S series gimbals DJI has popularized the combination of an Arca receiver on top of a Modified 501 plate. While this works perfectly well for their gimbals it has little additional application. DJI’s plate also requires a very specific non-standard-size Arca plate to accommodate its clasping mechanism and height clearance.At Kondor Blue our philosophy is to make products as simple and universal as possible. As such we’ve created a one-of-a-kind Manfrotto 501 to Arca Swiss Adapter. This feature-rich pivot camera mount combination will provide much more value and versatility than simply a gimbal quick-release plate.The Arca receiver orientation can be rotated to be parallel or perpendicular to the 501 plate. This becomes especially advantageous when combined with our line of mirrorless cages that feature Arca quick releases from the cage with the Arca plate oriented parallel to the lens.The Manfrotto 501 to Arca Swiss Adapter is a pivot camera mount that can also be used with standard 501 tripod heads and includes all of the expected anti-slip safety features.* You can even remove the Arca receiver and use it as a standalone receiver as well and can be mounted via ?” 20 bolts.
