The Jeans have been made using a high weight 12.5ox stretch Super-Denim fabric, which has a 100% TWARON lining. TWARON is the same material used in the production of bulletproof vests which is difference from all other aramidic knitted, thanks to the shuttle construction with weft/warp woven. The material is much more harder than many others, but also much more resistant. The resistance is much higher than Kevlar , cotton fabrics, knitted fabrics, linings and felt and the material has incredible strength - meaning that the equal amount in weight is 5 times stronger than steel. Once made, the fabric is then subjected to various controls and laboratory tests to check for abrasion resistance. PMJ reinforce areas with TWARON which are at the most risk of impact, but the material is completely invisible and not in direct contact with any body parts of the rider.All of these key features of the PMJ Jean construction is based that 25% of motorcyclists are wearing protective trousers that will actually protect their leg in the case of a fall, and the majority of injuries for bikers come from abrasions and lacerations.For additional protection, the Legend Jeans are CE Certified with adjustable and removable knee protections provided.
