The welded construction of narrow partitioned tiles stabilizes the down and allows it to expand, trapping the maximum volume of air and providing all the warmth needed. For added strength, less bulk and better moisture management, the cuffs and hood are insulated with Stratus™ synthetic drying fabric rapide. When the cuffs are tightened with Velcro tabs, the synthetic insulation is still operational.
