Minerva Core Range Heavy Stretch Woven Bengaline Suiting Fabric Navy Blue

A fantastic quality heavy bengaline fabric from the Minerva Core Range collection. Bengaline is a woven fabric that stretches down the length of the fabric (as opposed to across the width which is common in most stretch wovens). Bengaline has a very subtle glossy finish which gives this fabric a polished and elegant look. Bengaline is a very practical fabric, it is hard wearing and durable as well as being machine washable, resistant to creasing and easy care. This fabric weighs approx. 255gsm which puts it into our medium to heavy weight category here at Minerva. It is made from a blend of 74% viscose, 22% polyester and 4% elastane fibres which give this fabric its stretch and recovery. It is ideal for sewing skirts, trousers, dresses, jumpsuits, jackets, suits and waistcoats. Considered a more formal fabric, it is ideal for workwear.
