If you’re lucky you might even spot some wildlife such as ospreys eagles and red squirrels. On the way to Glenmore Visitor Centre your guide will share stories of local folklore history and geology. If time allows visit a traditional Scottish bothy - a simple mountain shelter once used by shepherds and now a welcoming refuge for hill walkers. This tour is designed for those with some hiking experience and a moderate level of fitness. The leaders will modify the pace to the whole groups’ abilities but participants must be able to stay with the hike leaders as splitting the group or modifications to the trail for individuals are not possible. This tour includes a 2.5-hour walk covering approximately 8.8km (5.5 miles) with an elevation gain of 130 m (427 ft). The tracks are all forestry-type gravel paths.
