This purple herringbone seven-fold silk tie is a rare archive piece from our bespoke store, bearing the original 40 Savile Row label — the precursor to Custom Made — and capturing an early chapter of our Savile Row heritage. Hand-cut from a single, large silk block and folded seven times into itself, it uses roughly twice the fabric of a standard tie for a heavier, more substantial drape. The herringbone weave adds subtle texture and visual depth, while the wool lining ensures structure, perfect knots and lasting shape.
