Emerging in the 18th century, the marquise shape is sometimes sweetly referred to as the 'navette shape' meaning little boat, due to its resemblance to the hull of a sailboat. Lined with milgrain edging, the navette pendant holds 28 round and 3 marquise shaped cubic zirconia stones.
