Breitling’s all-purpose watch for every pursuit, the Chronomat, holds a significant place in the brand’s history. Introduced in 1984, when extra-thin quartz timepieces were the trend, Breitling boldly reintroduced an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. Inspired by the Frecce Tricolori chronograph developed in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron in 1983, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s centenary and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightful place at a brand renowned for these incredible watches.
