This watch reinterprets Japan’s and Seiko’s first Diver’s watch from 1965. The original, worn by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition from 1966 to 1969, marked Seiko’s commitment to diving reliability and professional standards. The latest version has a deep scuba blue bezel and matching dial. It meets ISO Diving standards with glow-in-the-dark Lumibrite hands and indices, and a 4:30 date calendar. The bracelet has updated short pitch links, a shorter buckle, and a slimmer 13mm depth.
