When the HOT SHOT LO was reintroduced a few seasons ago, its look was modernized. With its mesh base, this year's version of the classic sneaker silhouette-ball is ready for summer. Leather inserts on the side and under the eyecup are complemented by butter-soft suede inserts on the mudguard, forefoot and quarter heel. The rapide lacing system molded in plastic and the double eyelets on the top are a nice carryover from the OG version that first appeared in our catalogs around 1988. The tongue with KangaROOS' secret pocket on the inner side, as well as the lining, are again in mesh. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant rubber, guaranteeing good grip and pleasant durability. This superb retro sneaker comes with a little extra. Where you'd usually find a letter ROOS on the side panel, this version of the Hot Shot shows a small window displaying an American flag instead of the company's branding.
