Based on Calibre's popular Rake 27 hardtail, the foundations of the Shift 27 are rock-solid. Years of development have gone into its versatile and confidence inspiring geometry - it's an ideal choice for less experienced mountain bikers with a modest budget that want a very capable and playful bike to progress on. Powered by a Promovec rear hub motor and a 280W battery, the Shift 27 gives a big helping hand on gruelling climbs. The Shift 27 is built with a whole heap of components from the World's best bike brands. Rockshox are masters of bike suspension and the Shift's coil sprung Judy suspension fork does a grand job of smoothing out the trail. A trusty Shimano drivetrain transfers every drop of pedal power and motorised assistance to the 27.5 inch wheels, which are equipped with a pair of chunky WTB Trail Boss tyres. Calibre armed the Shift 27 with a pair of Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes to stop it in a hurry. The Promovec battery is stylishly integrated within the downtube where it is protected from the trail.
