Timanfaya Wine and Scenic Private Shore Excursion

Meet your guide at the cruise terminal. Head straight to Timanfaya National Park, the iconic volcanic park with spectacular volcanic landscapes. Explore the unique Martian-like scenery of the park and also experience the Geothermal demonstration where a ranger will show how heat from the volcano can be used to ignite brushwood and boil water.After Timanfaya, head towards the Costa de Lava. You will stop at viewpoints and capture stunning photos of the coastline’s stark beauty. Next, head to the coastal village of El Golfo, a beautiful spot known for its green lagoon, Charco de los Clicos. Drive towards the Salinas de Janubio, a traditional salt production site and take in the panoramic views of the salt flats against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to Bodega La Geria, known for its unique method of growing vines in volcanic soil. Learn about Lanzarote's wine-making techniques, followed by a tasting of local wines (optional).
