SUMMER DAZE FESTIVAL: COMEDY CLUB (Saturday)

Comedy Club: Sarah Keyworth, Tatty Macleod, Michael Akadiri & Eli Hart  An unmissable night of stand-up featuring some of the most exciting voices on the circuit. Headlined by Sarah Keyworth, acclaimed for their sharp, offbeat storytelling and Edinburgh Fringe success, alongside Tatty Macleod, whose bilingual, culture-clash comedy has earned her a devoted following online and on stage. They're joined by rising star Michael Akadiri, bringing his clever, warm and incisive perspective, and Eli Hart, delivering fresh, fast-paced material packed with punchlines. Sarah KeyworthEdinburgh Comedy Award nominee, Melbourne International Comedy Festival winner & acclaimed social media star Sarah Keyworth is known for their sharp wit, heartfelt storytelling, and exploration of gender identity.  Their debut solo show, Dark Horse, earned a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and was filmed as an Amazon Prime special. In 2024, Keyworth's show My Eyes Are Up Here won Most Outstanding Show at Melbourne International Comedy Awards and was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. They have appeared on television comedy shows such as Live At The Apollo, Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. They wrote and performed two series of their own show for Radio 4, entitled Are You A Boy Or A Girl?, a timely, hilarious and insightful exploration of gender. Tatty MacleodTatty is a French-British stand-up comedian and social media star. Also known as "that French TikTok lady" she has amassed over 548k followers across Instagram & TikTok, thanks to her hilarious take on the differences between French and British culture. Tatty's sold-out Edinburgh Fringe debut FUGUE earned 5 star reviews, major "Best of Fringe" accolades, and led to a 10,000+ ticket-selling tour across the UK and beyond, including four nights at Soho Theatre & two at Clapham Grand.  Michael AkadiriMichael Akadiri is a fast rising multi award winning comedian. Michael's burgeoning TV Career has seen him feature on Comedy Central LIVE (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) and Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer. His radio credits include the Capital Xtra's Breakfast Show, BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends, BBC Radio 4 Extra's Comedy Club and stand-up on Radio 4's Fred at the Stand. As well as performing comedy, Michael works as a resident doctor in the NHS and is currently on a sabbatical from his surgical training. His medical background means he's also in demand as a health commentator, appearing both on TV (BBC Two's Newsnight), radio (LBC & Times Radio) & print (The Guardian's opinion column). Michael's 2022 Edinburgh Fringe debut was a huge success, his show 'No Scrubs' sold out it's run and culminated in a nomination for the Biggest Award in Comedy. His sophomore follow up, Trust Me, I'm a Daddy toured the UK successfully across 2024/5. Both are available to watch as Youtube specials. Eli HartWinner of the 2025 BBC New Comedy Awards, Eli was also a finalist in the Komedia New Comedy Award 2025, and reached the finals of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2024. Eli is also set to be part of this summer's Pleasance Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This event is part of Summer Daze Festival, a brand new four day summer festival bringing together theatre, comedy, live music and family friendly activities across Wood Wharf.Suitable for Over 18's only.Please note this is a mixed-bill comedy show and, in some circumstances, the line-up may be subject to change.Shows last aproximately 2 hours.
