Designed for slower swing speed players who struggle to generate sufficient club head speed, the G440 High Launch build is custom engineered with a lighter back weight, ultra-light shafts, and lightweight grips. By lowering the club’s overall weight, golfers can swing faster and generate elevated ball speeds, resulting in higher launching and longer carrying shots that travel farther. The G440 hybrids appeal to a variety of skill levels, each engineered to deliver different ball flight characteristics – from the slightly fade-biased 2 hybrid for off-the-tee performance to the draw-inducing 5, 6 and 7 hybrids that help optimise gapping. They all share a new, shallower and thinner face design, which improves face contact for more ball speed and higher-launching shots that hit and hold the green. A lower CG in the multi-material heads (stainless steel, maraging steel and carbon) also contributes to ball-speed gains for more distance. The slimmer back weight allows for a more contoured sole design to ensure the club sits flush to the ground and the face angle remains consistent.
