Strawberry 'Malling Centenary' - Red / 10

Malling Centenary strawberry - an early main-season variety with large, uniform, glossy scarlet-red fruits and outstanding sweet, high-sugar flavour. Firm-textured berries ripen from early June to early July, bred for improved appearance and taste compared to Elsanta and shortlisted for RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year. Premium bare-root runners produce up to 10 flower stalks in year one for a much higher first-year yield. Perennial Fragaria × ananassa, grows 20–30 cm tall, thrives in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter (pH 5.5–6.8), and is suitable for pots, patios, borders, vegetable plots and raised beds.
