The NL-SATAPCIEXT is a SATA PCI card which is compliant with Serial ATA 1.0 specifications to upgrade your desktop computer to allow dual Serial ATA RAID channels and one Parallel ATA (IDE) host controller to support up to two devices. The NL-SATAPCIEXT card provide two fully compliant Serial ATA ports (1 internal & 1 external) to access Striping (RAID 0) and Mirroring (RAID 1) which is supported to improve data performance and provide data redundancy. Specification Serial ATA - 1.5 Gbps (150 MB/s). Compliant with Serial ATA 1.0 Specification. Supports 48-bit LBA (Large Disk) hard drives larger than 137 GB. Supports spread spectrum clocking to reduce EMI. Registers as compatible with Parallel ATA. Single digital PLL architecture with 1 PLL for both channels.
