The NL-HD28 is a 2.5” combo enclosure that supports eSATA or USB 2.0 connection there is a slide switch to choose which connection type you would prefer. Any capacity 2.5” IDE or 2.5” SATA HDD is supported. Specification Ideal for Parallel ATA and Serial ATA Hard Disk Drives. Fanless Design. Provides 1x USB 2.0 Port and 1x eSATA Port. Connects a 2.5” PATA/SATA hard disk drive to Hi-Speed USB 2.0 or SATA hard disk drive to eSATA (eSATA - IDE is not supported). Supports all 2.5” PATA/SATA hard disk drives of any capacity. Hi-Speed USB 2.0 transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. Backwards compatible with USB 1.1. SATA transfer rates up to 1.5/3.0 Gbps (depending on SATA HDD type).
