The 99CDL-80 range of "SuperSpeed USB" Type A (male) to Type B (male) cables support a data transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s). which is about ten times faster than USB 2.0 technology.This is a standard Type A to B cable; it is designed to connect a Host to a Device. The Host (A) connection will connect to a computer/laptop and the Device (B) connection is commonly found on external hard drives. docking stations and USB hubs.The official name for this cable would be USB3.2 Gen 1. (Previously known as USB3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.0)
