Marshalls Garden Astrantia 'Buckland' - Large Pale Pink Flowering Perennial, Hardy 9cm Plants - Red

Astrantia 'Claret' (Astrantia major) features deep ruby-red pincushion flowers on long red-black stems and deeply lobed leaves that are maroon-tinged when young. Hardy and low-maintenance, this perennial grows 0.5–1.0 m tall and blooms from June to August. It thrives in full sun or part shade in moist, slightly acidic, nutrient-rich soil and is suitable for pots, borders, patios, cottage and wildlife gardens, and raised beds. Bees and other pollinators love the flowers, and the long flowering season makes 'Claret' excellent for cutting and seasonal displays. Plant between March and May for best establishment.
