Waterfalls In Acrylic With David 'DJ' Johnson Is A One-day Acrylic Painting Workshop On Saturday, 24th January 2026, 10am-4pm, At Jackson’s Attic Studio At Griffin Mill. Located At Thrupp, Near Stroud, In Gloucestershire, Griffin Mill Is An Atmospheric Converted Victorian Mill In The Heart Of The Stunning Cotswolds. All Abilities Welcome, Including Beginners. The Workshop Involves Exploring How To Paint Movement Found In Waterfalls And Fast Flowing Waters, As Well As The Textures You Find In The Trees, Leaves And Rock. DJ Teaches A Variety Of Techniques, Including Using Palette Knives, Sponges And Brushes To Achieve A Wide Range Of Textures And Patterns Found In These Landscapes. We Also Use Drybrushing Techniques Combined With Colour Washes To Emulate The Feeling Of Movement In Water. These Are Techniques That DJ Has Been Exploring And Developing For A Few Years Now. This Workshop Will Be Taught Through A Series Of Demonstrations And One-to-one Tuition. You Will Study And Play With Colour, Light, Tonal Values And Textures, Allowing For Individual Creative Expression. Recommended Equipment List: Acrylic Paints: Bring Whatever You Have Already.
