A simple but stylish solution to raised beds. Garden Gear Wooden Raised beds are made from 100% solid fir wood treated with high temperature carbonisation. The beds are swiftly assembled by simply inserting four metal pins at the corners. Simply sit these bottomless beds on the soil and fill them with the compost of your choice. Plants will benefit from raised soil temperatures, increased rooting depth and additional drainage whilst exposure to weeds and pests is reduced. Better still, they also minimise bending! If using on a patio or decking we recommend using a suitable liner and laying on a bed of approx. 10-20mm of gravel to aid drainage.
