ABOUT THE WINE. Founded in 1838 in the historic village of Aÿ, Champagne Deutz is one of the Grandes Marques, renowned for crafting wines of finesse, elegance and depth. The William Deutz cuvée, named after the house’s founder, represents the pinnacle of its style, produced only in exceptional years. The 2013 vintage, shaped by a late but warm and sunny season, is composed predominantly of Pinot Noir (77%) with Chardonnay and Meunier adding refinement. Grapes are sourced from Grand Cru vineyards, and the wine is aged for seven years on its lees, building remarkable complexity while preserving freshness.. TASTING NOTES. Expressive aromas of ripe yellow fruits – quince, peach, and apricot – lifted by hints of honey and delicate toast.
