Clematis 'Charmaine'

The majority of clematis come in soft pastels, but Clematis ‘Charmaine’ makes a bold impression with its richly coloured blooms that offer two blooming seasons –  early summer and autumn. In May and June, the 10-15cm flowers open to burgundy before maturing to a rich velvety red. These early blooms are luxurious double to semi-double flowers with ruffled petals and are followed by single blooms that appear in August and September.Whether adorning a garden wall, climbing over an arbour, or adding vertical interest to a container Clematis 'Charmaine' offers a captivating display.
