Chase English Rhubarb Vodka, 70 cl

Herefordshire rhubarb is slowly cooked before distilling it with Chase Vodka in a bespoke copper batch pot still. It is then further distilled again to infuse the flavours, before adding macerated fresh rhubarb and filtering to leave a delicate pink colour. If you like rhubarb crumble then this is most definitely for you. Initially very cynical, we were astonished after tasting this. The spirit remains to be clean and yet with fresh stewed rhubarb. There is also a lovely, creamy texture to polish off with. ### Product Description William Chase certainly seems to have the midas touch. He started his working life on the family farm supplying potatoes to Supermarkets which is testing at the best of times. As a result of a batch of potatoes being returned by a Supermarket for not beingpretty' enough, he struck upon the idea of turning his potatoes into chips. And so Tyrells was born. Some time later he realised that Vodka could be made straight from potato as well and soon after that Chase Distillery was born and has since gone on to become one of the most recognisable British brands.
