Cellar for up to 5 years. Serve chilled. This elegant Prosecco Superiore is dedicated to Giustino Bisol who founded the Ruggeri winery in 1950. It’s regarded as one of the five original producers of Prosecco, and was first established in Santo Stefano before relocating to the town of Valdobbiadene which is known for its exceptional quality Prosecco. Today the winery works closely with around 110 partner growers who own very small plots of land in the region. To ensure the quality of the finished wine the grapes are all harvested by hand and processed immediately on arrival. This dedication to the art of winemaking has been recognised by Gambero Rosso which was awarded the coveted Tre Bicchieri to every vintage of this Prosecco Superiore. Ruggeri winery is also the only Prosecco producer to have received the prestigious Gambero Rosso “star” award which is given to wineries with 10 or more Tre Bicchieri awards. In the glass you’ll immediately notice the fine stream of bubbles and delicate pale yellow hue, accompanied with fragrant notes of honeysuckle, citrus, and green apple. The palate is refreshing with ample acidity, a core of bright orchard fruit, and a pure, clean finish. Ideal served as an aperitif or partner for seafood, grilled fish, salads, and creamy cheeses.
