Racy notes of violet and truffle are followed by mouthfulls of dry cherries and rich berry fruit. Unusually aged in 1/3 new oak; 1/3 one year old and 1/3 rd two year old oak. Beautiful with roast lamb and rosemary. ### Product Description Terrazas literally translates as terrace. The company grow each grape variety on its own terrace on the edge of the Andes (near Mendoza) at what they believe to be the best height for the grapes' best development. Chardonnay is grown at 1200 metres above sea level and is watered by the snow melt from the mountains rather than by any man made irrigation system.
