Michter's US No.1 Small Batch Bourbon

This smooth, rich Bourbon is made by Michter's, the winner of the World's Most Admired Whiskey Brand three years running. Crafted in Kentucky, the heartland of American whiskey production, Michter's adopts a 'cost be damned' approach to its production. With roots dating back to 1753, they season their wood for an extended period and have a low barrel entry proof of 51.5% ABV which allows for a more integrated spirit. Formerly operating under the brand name Bomberger's in Pennsylvania, it was one of America's earliest continuously operating distilleries. After the Pennsylvania distillery closed in 1989, the brand was revived in 1990s, moving to Kentucky. This Bourbon does not carry an age statement, but is instead matured for 'as long as it takes' as determined by the Master Distiller. It's aged in new, charred American white oak barrels that are air-dried and seasoned for added depth. Rich and balanced, it has complex aromas of caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit. The palate is smooth, with baking spice and toffee flavours.
