Jean Fillioux Lot 63 Grande Champagne Cognac / Through The Grapevine

70cl / 44% / La Maison du Whisky - This complex and aromatic Cognac from Jean Fillioux, based in Grande Champagne, has an inviting fruity and floral character. Distilled in 1963 using a combination of Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes, Lot 63 was aged in Limousin oak casks before being bottled in 2022. The nose is rich and elegant with toffee, wildflower honey and dark berries. The palate is a velvety combination of apricots, fig jam and sweet chestnuts, underlined by peppery notes and acidity.
